Charlie Gao

Biography

Charlie was born in Chengdu, grew up in Auckland, and is an alumnus of Auckland University. He spent the last eight years working in Beijing for New Zealand-owned asset management and advisory firm, Mahon China. He is now base in New Zealand running the firm's Auckland office.

Charlie's professional goal in life is to help make Aotearoa New Zealand an even better place to live by supporting New Zealanders' understanding of and ability to work with China. Charlie loves playing with his son Raymond who is nearly three, listening to records, and drinking the occasional craft beer and single malt.
