The “Chinese Bridge” Speech Competition (汉语桥) is back again!

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to showcase your Chinese language skills, as well as sharing your experiences with other Chinese language learners.  What’s more, you could even win a scholarship to study in China!

The “Chinese Bridge” Speech Competition” (汉语桥) is the most famous international Chinese language competition for non-native speakers, having become a  popular reality entertainment show on Chinese TV (Check out the 2018 competition here).  It has been organized by the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters annually since 2008.

Participating at the regional, national or international competitions is a great experience for any level of Chinese language learner.

We are now calling for entries for the Wellington regional competition on Friday 7 June 2019.
