Ian Storey

Biography

Ian Storey is a Senior Fellow at the ISEAS Yusof Ishak Institute in Singapore. He specializes in Asian security issues, with a focus on Southeast Asia. His research interests include Southeast Asia’s relations with the major powers, maritime security (especially the South China Sea dispute) and the roles and interests of Asian countries in the Arctic. His latest book is The South China Sea: Navigating Strategic and Diplomatic Tensions (co-edited, ISEAS, 2016). He is also the editor of the ISEAS academic journal Contemporary Southeast Asia.
