Dr Rita McNamara receives a Marsden Fast-Start grant
We are excited to announce that our CACR Fellow - Dr Rita McNamara – has been awarded a prestigious Marsden Fast-Start grant of $300,000 to work on her research study, Unpacking Opacity of Mind: How socio-cultural context shapes social cognition when minds are unknowable.
There’s enormous competition for Marsden Fund grants and the application process in itself is challenging. Many academics expect to have to apply multiple times over many years before they are successful, so the fact that Rita was successful on her first application is a real coup in itself and testament to the quality of her proposal.
