Jeremy Fyke

Jeremy initially contacted Andrew Mackintosh from the University of Victoria, British Columbia, with an interest in carrying out a PhD in coupled climate/ice sheet modelling. That was back in 2007 and now his PhD is completed.

Jeremy has worked hard to couple David Pollard's ice sheet model to the UVIC Earth Systems model, with the support of Professor Andrew Weaver (Canada), David Pollard (Penn State University), Lionel Carter and Andrew Mackintosh (ARC), and has published several excellent papers.

We hope to keep Jeremy involved in the future - he has made a significant contribution to the Antarctic Research Centre modelling programme, and his work is relevant to the forthcoming IPCC AR5 assessment.
