Associate Professor Kate Hunter

Kate Hunter is an Associate Professor in Victoria University’s School of History, Philosophy, Political Science and International Relations, and Director of the Stout Research Centre for New Zealand Studies.

Kate has worked at Victoria for more than 20 years, during which time she has chaired the University Scholarships Committee, held elected and appointed positions on faculty committees, working parties and other committees, and has also held programme leadership roles.

Kate has written a number of history books, and has had articles published in top-ranking international journals.
