Ben Forman

Business plans; innovation in film production

Ben Forman

Ben runs Wrestler, a content creation company. Since its inception over six years ago, Ben has grown Wrestler into one of New Zealand's most successful online video businesses, creating content for clients both nationally and internationally. Ben also started one of New Zealand's first commercial drone companies, and helped pave the way for working legislation for the industry.

With a strong focus on business growth through creativity, Ben is stupidly excited about the potential for virtual and augmented reality from both a commercial and a creative stand point. As the online video and VR/AR industries continue to boom, Ben aims to keep Wrestler at the forefront, leading the way in business model and output.

Luke Frater

Luke has worked as a freelance cinematographer and camera operator for the past eight years. During that period he has worked on everything from commercials, documentaries, music videos, corporate video and promo work. He is also an accomplished editor having completed an extensive number of promotional videos, corporate work and music videos.

Luke studied Film Production (Hons) at Victoria University in Wellington, graduating in 2008, before entering the film industry full time. He counts a number of feature films on his resume including The Light Between Oceans, Krampus, and the Hobbit trilogy.

Meredith Meyer-Nichols

Meredith Meyer-Nichols

Meredith Meyer-Nichols is a producer and executive producer of visual effects, virtual, augmented and mixed reality, and virtual production and performance capture. She has 15 years experience producing ground-breaking visual effects and creative technology both in New Zealand and internationally.

Most recently Executive Producer and Head of Production at Framestore in London, and previously VFX Producer at Weta Digital, Meredith’s credits comprise some the biggest movies of the past decade including Avatar, The Adventures of Tintin, Guardians of the Galaxy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Beauty and the Beast.

Stevo is Director of Ocular, a Wellington-based agency with expertise in web, video, design, strategy and marketing.

Stevo started Ocular some 15 years ago as a video production house. Ocular is now about providing solutions to a wide range of business problems providing solutions around strategy, video, web design, marketing and creative services.
