Victoria has a wireless network available to university staff and students with wireless enabled laptops.

To connect to the network you will need a laptop that supports 802.11a,b or g.

Please note that only VUW owned and managed laptops are fully supported. Personal laptops will not be supported although best efforts will be made to allow you to connect.

The network is provided as an addition to our wired network and is not yet supported for use in critical teaching applications.Staff and Students are reminded that the network is provided for university related learning and communication purposes only . When using VUW computer systems (including the internet and e-mail), you are required to comply with the Statute on Student Conduct (for students), the Conduct Policy (for staff) and the Information Systems Statute.
