Physical Location

Weir House is located on Gladstone Terrace, off Salamanca Road, and is within five minutes walk of Victoria University's Kelburn Campus.

How to Get to Weir House

By Foot

From the Kelburn Campus, head northeast on Kelburn Parade. When Kelburn Parade meets Salamanca Road, fork left onto Salamanca Road. Gladstone Terrace is the first street on the right.

Cable Car

We are located at the University Stop on the Wellington Cable Car.

Bus

No buses go past Weir House itself but there is a bus route that goes up and down Kelburn Parade, see Transport. The Railway Station and Bus Station is within 20 minutes walk.

By Car

Take the Terrace off ramp from the motorway. Turn right onto The Terrace and the second right onto Salamanca Road, then a sharp right turn back onto Salamanca Road. Gladstone Terrace is the first on the right (past Kelburn Park and under the Cable Car over the pass).

Taxi

From Wellington Airport it takes 20 mintues by taxi and costs approximately $25. In New Zealand there is no need to tip.
