Admission and Fees

We have one admission into the MBA programme per year. Applications to study open in September of each year with study commencing in February.
As part of your admission to the MBA programme domestic and international applicants are required to complete an admissions test as part of the application process. This is to ensure you are a suitable candidate for the degree programme.

Entry requirements
To be admitted to the MBA programme you must have the following:
- An undergraduate degree of good academic performance from an accredited University.
- On rare occasions, applicants without a first degree but with outstanding achievement and a track record of managerial experience of ten years or more may also be considered.
- Demonstrated, successful professional experience of at least five years.
- Performed acceptably in the mandatory Mathematics Refresher Course.*
*Note: There is a small fee associated with the Mathematics Refresher Course as it is administered outside the University. More information can be found on the Mathematics Refresher Course website.
Admission Requirements
Domestic applicants: are required to complete the Victoria MBA Admission Test. This is a two-hour test covering three sections including:
- Business case study
- Reading comprehension and critical thinking
- Numerical skills and logical thinking.
International applicants: enrolment applications are processed by Victoria International. Students are required to take the GMAT test and score 550 or more.
International applicants whose first language is not English will also be required to undertake either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test.
Account will be taken of applicants’ overall achievement, professional experiences, undergraduate records, referee reports and areas of strength.

Application Process
Download and complete the interview form and send the completed interview form together with your Curriculum Vitae (CV) and names of two referees to Linda Walker.
Applications into the MBA are processed between September-February. Should you meet our criteria you will be offered an interview with the Programme Director. These interviews take place from October to January.
Following the interview you then may then be invited to sit the MBA admissions test. Once this has been completed and your results have been reviewed. You will receive an email inviting you on the MBA programme and information outlining the process for your enrolment.
You will then complete an enrolment form, via our online enrolment system. Once this has been processed you are sent an electronic ‘offer of study’, and once accepted you will be fully enrolled in the MBA programme.
Deadline for submission of applications for study in 2013 is 31, January.

Fees
Fees for the MBA programme are approximately $2,100.75 per course (including reading materials). Course fees do not include the purchase of text books required for your studies.
The MBA requires you to pass 16 courses (within five years of starting) therefore the total cost for the programme is approximately $33,612.00
As part of the Victoria MBA learning experience you will be offered six Executive Professional Development workshops at no additional charge.
