Introduction
Eric has extensive managerial and consulting experience in both the private and public sectors. In the private sector, he was a Regional Manager with the containerised shipping division of Ocean Transport and Trading, UK, a Consultant with Mercuri International, a Swedish-based consulting multinational and a Managing Consultant with UK-based PA Consulting Group's Assessment and Development Practice. He held various appointments in the public sector with his last appointment as Management Consultant with the Civil Service College’s Consulting Group in Singapore.

Research Interests
Eric’s current research centres on quantitative studies distinguishing the managerial competencies of more rapid career advancing managers in both the public and private sectors as well as across nationalities and cultures. He has examined managerial performance in organisational creativity, leadership and teamwork from a multi-level research perspective separating findings on individuals, organisations and national/cultural/ethnic groups.
