VICTORIA MANAGEMENT SCHOOL

Industrial Relations Centre

The Industrial Relation Centre combines academic research of high quality with the dissemination of that research to the practitioner community.

The centre was established in 1970 and is located in the Victoria Management School.

The Industrial Relations Centre continues to provide a forum for research into industrial relations, human resource management, labour markets and any area related to employment relations. It supports this research through funds raised by the Centre's activities. The Centre is home to the Developing Human Capability Project.

The Centre stages an annual series of Employment Agreement Seminars around the country to report to practitioners on wages and conditions contained in the Industrial Relations Centre's comprehensive database of Collective Employment Contracts and Agreements. (The Employment Agreements: Bargaining Trends & Employment Law Update) is published as a result of these seminars.
