Welcome to the communities who have joined us in working together on the Through Our Eyes project. We are indebted to you for your generosity in allowing us to enter your Marae, your Kura, your Whare, and your lives so that we may speak with your rangatahi and learn from them, a new way of looking at the world.
We thank the rangatahi, who have delighted (and sometimes frustrated) us with their intelligence, commitment and quiet strength. We take heart in knowing that these vibrant, intuitive, and busy young people represent an important part of the future for Māori. If that is the case, we are in good hands.
