VUW Chess Club
A club for social and competitive chess players
The VUW Chess Club provides space and resources for people who are interested in chess to meet and play. We are open to all, no matter the skill level.
We meet weekly to play casual over the board chess. We host occasional tournaments (in person and online), as well as social events. We also like to solve chess puzzles.
There are also opportunities to join a team to compete against other universities.
So come on down to the chess club and have some great games. We'll provide the boards and clocks, but feel free to bring your own!
