Workshops for Maori Students

Tēnā hoki koutou i roto i ngā āhuatanga o te wā

Student Learning Support runs workshops for Maori students in trimesters 1 and 2; extra workshops are held prior to exam time and the Marae runs a number of Noho during the course of the year.  These workshops are informative and practical and will give you an opportunity to ask questions about your academic work.  Workshops will also give you an opportunity to meet other students who have similar issues.  Workshops are designed just for you in a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere.

The sessions are:

  • Allocation of time
  • Essay and assignment writing
  • Ways of referencing
  • Information interpretation (paraphrasing, summarising, note taking)

No booking is required. For more information, please contact Student Learning Support, or our Maori Learning Adviser.
