Pasifika Students' Orientation programme
The Pasifika orientation welcomes Pacific students and their families to Victoria University to prepare you for a successful journey at Victoria.
Pre-orientation week events
Wednesday 22 February
- Welcome evening, 5–8.30pm, Kelburn Campus (venue TBC, attendees will be notified)—followed by refreshments in the Alan MacDiarmid Building
Thursday 23 February
- Breakfast, 8.30–9.30am, Alan MacDiarmid Building
- Workshops designed to prepare you for study at Victoria University—from 9.30am–12.30pm, Alan MacDiarmid Building
Friday 24 February
- Breakfast, 8.30–9.30am, Alan MacDiarmid Building
- Learning from the best—meet key people, 9.30am–12 noon, Alan MacDiarmid Building
- Sausage Sizzle, 12 noon–1pm, Gate 6, Kelburn Parade
- 'Tour of the Pacific' to explore your Pacific cultural heritage, 1.30–2.30pm, Te Papa Museum
New Students’ Orientation week
Monday 27 February - Friday 2 March
- Pasifika Students’ Base—meet up each morning during the week for breakfast and a briefing on activities planned for the day, 8.30am–3.30pm, Murphy 632. Feel free to drop in during the day to regroup.
