New Students

Fees

You are liable to pay fees once you confirm your enrolment, by signing and returning your Offer of Study, a Course Add/Drop form or any other document where acceptance into a course is formally agreed.

Pay your fees early! If your fees are not paid in full you cannot pick up your Student ID card and if your fees are not paid by the Friday before your course begins, you may be charged the late payment penalty of $154. If you cannot make the payment by the due date, you must contact the Student Fees Advisers.

Making payments in person

All student payments (including tuition fees and payments for replacement ID cards, transcripts and visas etc.) will be processed at the Enrolment and Student Finance Counter, Level 1, Hunter Building, Kelburn Campus. EFTPOS and credit/debit card is our preferred method of payment for all transactions—no cash will be accepted.

Making payments through StudyLink

Apply early! The process takes time and unless your fees have been fully paid, you will not be able to pick up your Student ID card.

The Student Allowances and Loans scheme is administered by StudyLink, who can also help with extra emergency costs while you are studying. There have been significant changes to eligibility for Student Loans and Allowances since 2011. Visit the websites below to see how these changes might affect you.
