Free wifi
There are computers on all campuses for student use. There is a small charge to print and photocopy, but no charge for internet browsing. It is recommended (but not essential) that you have your own laptop, to avoid having to wait for a computer when there is high demand. You can log in to Victoria’s free secure wifi using your own computer or phone, once you have set up your login.

For help
Blackboard
Blackboard is a University-wide system used to support learning and teaching. If a course uses Blackboard a course page will be set up by your lecturer. Visit Blackboard regularly to get resources and participate in learning activities. Blackboard can be accessed from myVictoria or directly from http://blackboard.vuw.ac.nz
Help
You can attend a myVictoria session that covers how to use Blackboard during New Students’ Orientation.
If you are having problems accessing myVictoria or want more help, you can also attend a drop-in session in a Cyber Commons room during New Students’ Orientation.
