How do I apply for a Student Allowance?

Do I qualify for a Student Allowance?
Students under 24
All students under 24, regardless of work history, living at home or away from home, or whether they are married with no children, will be assessed on parental income. Students must be enrolled full time.

Students 24 and above
Students 24 and above studying full time are eligible for an allowance of $204.96 net per week (single, living away from home) or $163.96 net per week(single, living at home). Your eligibility depends on personal income limits.
Students living away from home who qualify for an allowance also qualify for a $40 per week accommodation benefit.

200 Week Limit
You can get the student allowance for 200 weeks in a lifetime. Extensions are possible in certain situations.
