Academic Support Worker - Electronic
"Are you looking for rewarding work at Victoria University? We require academic support workers-electronic to perform note taking for students with impairments in their lectures and tutorials and/or assistance with typing academic assessments.
Our current staff are some of the best students of Victoria University. They love working in the academic environment, they are supportive of students with impairments, they believe in equity and see themselves as leaders who want to make a difference, and they are fast typists! To join our team you will need to:
- have excellent oral and written English skills
- have excellent paraphrasing and note taking skills
- touch type 60 words per minute or more
- work well under pressure
- have academic background in Humanities, Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Biology ) Law or Languages.
Successful candidates will be also offered the Academic Support Worker role (reader writer supervision in exams and taking manual notes in lectures).
