Jaiki joined the Health Services Research Centre in November 2009 after several years of work in international development with the World Bank and other multilateral organisations, private research organisations, and the governments of Mozambique, The Bahamas, Nigeria, Mongolia, and Vietnam. Prior to this he taught economics at Davidson College, and North Carolina State University in the US. His research interests cover a wide spectrum and include health economics, demography, youth violence, gender, agricultural reforms, public sector reforms, and poverty.
