Events
The School of Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research hosts many events throughout the year, including conferences.
Colloquia are talks designed to appeal to a general audience, given by members of School staff. Students from 300 level upwards are encouraged to attend.
Seminars are designed for a more specialist audience and are given by visiting academics, industry professionals and postgraduate students or School staff. Postgraduate students are encouraged to attend, to build networks with others in their fields and gain new insights into their own research.
Visitors are also welcome.
