This course covers the four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. It continues comprehensive grammar review consolidating students' competence in preparation for 200-level courses. There is an introduction to writing dissertation. Issues in contemporary French society are studied through 20th and/or 21st century works; however the emphasis is on language study. 100% internal assessment.
