The Postgraduate Students’ Association (PGSA) was proud to host the annual Victoria’s Awards which provide the opportunity to celebrate excellence within Victoria University and recognise postgraduate students, academic and general staff who inspire all with their verve and passion.

Our very own Marco Sonzogni won a Supervisor Award and Marta Simonetti collected a Postgraduate Research Excellence Award. We salute them on their achievements and recognition of their hard work.

This year's event was held on Thursday 1 December in the Hunter Lounge with 125 guests in attendance. Special guests included Provost Professor Wendy Larner and Vice-Provost (Research) Professor Kate McGrath, who generously sponsor this event along with the Victoria University of Wellington Students’ Association (VUWSA) and the Tertiary Education Union (TEU).
