Transitional Arrangements

In 2012 no new enrolments will be permitted into the BBIS programme. Students enrolled in a BBIS in or before 2009 will be permitted to complete the degree under the 2009 statute with 475-479 points if the shortfall is due to the reduction in the points values of BCA courses from 18, 22 and 24 to 15, as long as they do so by the end of 2012.

Programme Specialisations

In your second, third, and fourth years in the programme, you will complete the core courses of the BBIS and study the courses that comprise one of the two specialisations; Information Systems Management or Information Systems Development.
