Overview

The ability to manage information services, technology, and systems is a worldwide need in businesses, industries, governments, and not-for-profit organisations. The demand for information professionals will continue for the foreseeable future. The Victoria University Master of Information Management (MIM) will prepare you for a career in these exciting fields.

The MIM is a postgraduate, post-experience, professional qualification that can be taken on either a full-time or part-time basis. It offers flexible, focused and comprehensive learning within information services, information systems, and electronic business. A strong emphasis is placed upon development of managerial skills in realistic organisational environments. Graduates will be recognised as having obtained a qualification enabling them to advance to the highest levels of their profession.

The MIM is designed with maximum flexibility in mind to accommodate students with a wide variety of backgrounds. It will appeal to professionals with working experience, or professionals simultaneously working full time during their course of study.
