The MIM Anniversary Event
The Master of Information Management degree achieved a 10-year milestone in 2011, and all those associated with the MIM were invited to mark the occasion at Rutherford House on Thursday 17 November. This was a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet current students, and network with industry leaders. The evening was opened with a welcome from Victoria University Vice-Chancellor Professor Pat Walsh, and featured a panel of MIM alumni talking about their experience of the Programme, followed by presentations from two employers.
Presentations
Presentations from industry figures discussing the attributes and workplace contributions of MIM graduates provided a highlight of the night.
Leanne Gibson (Ministry of Education CIO) offered her insights on the benefits of a post experience qualification, and Laurence Millar contributed via video (see below).
