Introduction
Tony's research direction in New Zealand is being developed based on both the courses he teaches at undergraduate and graduate level, and on the global phenomenon of electronic business. He is concerned with the way that information systems and technologies are driving policy at international, national, and organisational level. This relates technology adoption to globalisation and cultural issues, government policy on the use of information technology for economic growth, the promotion of electronic commerce adoption in small and medium-sized industries, etc. Tony is also interested in cyber warfare and global security issues emerging from the rapid growth in information technology developments.
