SIM HEC Applications - Guidelines and Documentation
Members of the SIM Human Ethics Committee (HEC) are:

The SIM procedure is the same as that for the FCA, except that the hard copy of all applications will be signed by the Chair of the SIM HEC, under delegated authority from the VUW HEC, not the Head of School.

Important: if you are a research student (MIM, MIS, MCA, or PhD), you are required to discuss your application with your supervisor first, and then your supervisor must submit the application on your behalf. HEC applications will not be accepted from research students directly.
Please ensure that you have read the documents listed below carefully before submitting an application. Supervisors and researchers should note in particular the following Appendices:
