The School of Information Management offers a Masters level research by thesis degree in Information Systems (INFO 591, Information Systems Thesis).

Overview

To instigate effective change, leading IS professionals need an intimate understanding of organisational structures and of the needs and motivation of the people within them, and the high-level skills to manage the process to completion. These are the qualities that employers expect of their top IS managers and consultants -- qualities we expect to develop in each of our MCA in Information Systems graduates.

The MCA in Information Systems is for graduates who want a fast track into leadership positions as information systems professionals -- as IS consultants, directors or managers, chief information officers, IS policy analysts, consultants in e-Commerce, project managers -- and for those wishing to pursue further research in our PhD programme.

Note: information about scholarships and grants available to students at Victoria University is available from the Scholarships website, including a download of the upcoming Postgraduate Scholarships closing dates (updated monthly).
