Areas of responsibility

  • Manage all aspects of the Luminescence Dating Laboratory. This includes dealing with clients to ensure results are delivered to a high quality and on time.
  • Responsible for the smooth daily running of the laboratory, sample processing, data analysis and interpretation.
  • Collaboration in scientific activities with researchers and postgraduate students.
  • General laboratory coordination and maintenance.
  • Responsible for the annual laboratory audit by MPI Biosecurity New Zealand.
  • Ensure the laboratory is a safe working environment and complies with the HSNO code and necessary policies and procedures.
