About Us

Welcome to the School of English, Film, Theatre, and Media Studies (SEFTMS). Our School is made up of four separate programmes, but there are close links between them, for the four disciplines share a common focus on the creation, production and interpretation of texts, whether written, spoken, theatrical, cinematic, televised, or electronic.

SEFTMS has scholars with international reputations teaching in all its programmes, a sizeable body of postgraduate students at Honours, Master's and PhD levels and a long tradition of its best students securing research scholarships overseas as well as at Victoria..
