The physical chemistry of solids, liquids and gases; electrochemistry, surface chemistry, kinetics, thermodynamics, computational chemistry and phase equilibria, conducting polymers and the electronic properties of solids. Topics are illustrated with real-world examples of the application and importance of chemistry and chemical processes.
