Victoria University Coastal Ecology Lab (VUCEL)

The School of Biological Sciences maintains the Victoria University Coastal Ecology Lab as a living laboratory for the advancement of knowledge through ecological research, education, and stewardship of the natural world.

The lab is located approximately 8km south of the Kelburn campus, where the main hub of the School of Biological Sciences is located, and overlooks spectacular exposed rocky reef systems typical of Cook Strait, with prominent views to the South Island.
