Trinity Newman Library Collection
The Trinity Newman collection of books and reference works in the fields of Christian theology, history and ethics, and Christian studies generally is located in Hunter 320.
St John's Associate Professor in Christian Theology
The position of St John's Associate Professor in Christian Theology was established in 2004, with financial sponsorship from St John's in the City. A new partnership agreement between the church and the University was signed in December 2010, extending support for the position till 2013. In addition, an annual "St John's Visiting Scholar" programme was established in 2010 that aims to bring an international scholar in theology to Wellington each year for a public lecture series. Library resources to support the courses in Christian theology have been funded from a variety of donors, most notably the Trinity Newman Foundation.
