Help Using This Guide
There are two ways of using the search function of the Victoria University Directory of Research Expertise.
1. Browse by areas of expertise
This search operates when you select one of the key areas of expertise provided in the list available on the search page. The search results include a multi-disciplinary list of staff identifying the selected area of expertise as the one best describing their research field. For example, clicking on Maori Studies delivers a list of staff from a variety of Schools who have expert knowledge around this subject.
2. Keyword search
This search allows you to enter your own search terms to find staff with matching areas of expertise.
Note that this search operates by looking for individual words in the entries provided by staff members, rather than phrases. You do not need to use link words such as and/or/the in the keyword search field.
