About This Site

Victoria University's web site was established in 1993 and was the first University web site to be developed in New Zealand. As more schools and departments within the University developed a web presence, this site has steadily grown and now contains over 20,000 pages.

In 1998, the Victoria University home site was established as a top level for the overall University site, focusing in particular on information for prospective students.

The home site underwent a major redesign in 2002. For the second trimester of 2003 the School of Art History, Classics and Religious Studies has enhanced the design and interface of its site, providing a model for the continuing redesign of the University's overall site.
