Undergraduate Study in Psychology

Psychology may be studied as a major in a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Psychology students become part of a lively and exciting community. At undergraduate level, we have respected academic staff to lead our teaching programmes. We also offer students the opportunity to participate in research and complete practical lab work using state of the art technology and techniques.

Students may choose to couple a Psychology major with another major from a range of disciplines, such as:

The requirements for an undergraduate major in Psychology are:
  1. PSYC 121, 122, STAT 193
  2. PSYC 232 and 45 further 200 level PSYC points
  3. PSYC 325 and 45 further 300 level PSYC points

Certificate of Proficiency

A Certificate of Proficiency (CoP) can be granted for every psychology course passed. The CoP can act as a stand alone qualification or contribute to a degree or diploma in the future.
