Victoria Psychology ClinicThe Victoria Psychology Clinic was established by the School of Psychology in 2004. The Clinic priovides a range os psychological services to members of the public and aims to provide services that are professional and accessible to those that need them. Important Announcement In December 2007 the Victoria Psychology Clinic began undergoing a change in structure. The change in focus saw a greater emphasis being placed on the Clinic as a teaching-based facility. As a result of these changes some of the services previously offered may no longer be available.
StaffSenior Supervising PsychologistsBarbara Matthews MA DipClinPsych My role within the clinical programme is to provide clinical students and interns the opportunity, support and supervision they need to complete assessments and intervention with children and their families referred to the Victoria Psychology Clinic.
Angelique O'Connell MA DipClinPsych I completed my Masters and Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology at Victoria University. I have worked primarily within public health and educational settings. I am a member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists (NZCCP). My role within the clinical psychology programme involves supervising post graduate students and interns working in the psychology clinic. Specifically, my role is to provide students with opportunities for learning and to promote the development of professional and ethical practice in the provision of assessment and intervention in the area of adult mental health.
