Welcome to Helen Rowse! Helen has accepted a 9 month contract as a Clinical Practice Advisor and starts on the 1st of March. Make sure you pop in and introduce yourselves! We’ll have a piece on her in the next Psycobabble!

I’ve recently been employed as a Clinical Practice Advisor at the Victoria Psychology Clinic for 2017. I’ve got a bit of a history with Victoria University, having completed my undergraduate degrees here (in Psychology, Criminology and Education), then the Clinical Psyc programme, and my Ph.D. with Dr. Carolyn Wilshire, as her first Ph.D. student J
I’ve since been practicing as a Clinical Psychologist, in Ireland for a few years, then at Hutt Valley DHB for the last 8 or so years within the Child and Adolescent mental health field. I’ll be here on Wednesdays and Thursdays, working at the DHB on Mondays, and trying to manage my 3 young children whenever I can! It’s exciting to be back here and I’m looking forward to catching up with familiar faces and meeting some new."
