Postgraduate Degrees

Honours
After completing an undergraduate degree, students have the option of doing a fourth year of intensive study in either political science or international relations.

Graduate Diploma in Arts (DipArt)
The DipArts is a one-year full-time or two- to four-year part-time programme, in which you can put together your own course of study.

Master of International Relations (MIR)
The MIR is a one calendar year full-time, or two years part-time, intensive taught Masters degree.

MA in Political Science
The Master of Arts degree is by thesis.

MA in International Relations
The Master of Arts degree is by thesis.

PhD in Political Science
The degree, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science, is awarded to those who have written and defended a lengthy dissertation involving original research.

PhD in International Relations
The degree, Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations, is awarded to those who have written and defended a lengthy dissertation involving original research.
