The Diplomatic Corps Prize

This prize was established in 1982 by the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, Wellington.

  • The Prize shall be known as the Diplomatic Corps Prize in International Relations.
  • The Prize shall be awarded annually by the Academic Board to the student enrolled in at least 12 credits selected from POLS 244-249, 371-379 who is considered by the Chairperson of the Department of Politics to be the best student of the year and worthy of the award.
  • The Prize shall be of the value of $150 and shall consist of a book or books approved by the Chairperson of the Department of Politics, each book having a suitable bookplate.  Any balance may be paid in cash.

An honours board displaying the names of prize winning students is in the Scott Common Room, 86 Fairlie Terrace.
