Overview
There are a number of scholarships, prizes and awards available to students studying at Victoria. For more information please refer to the Scholarships page on the Victoria website.
There are specific awards and scholarships offered to Pacific students. Some of these are listed below.
Awards
Tūmau Awards
These awards are open to full-time Māori and Pacific Island students enrolling in postgraduate or first- or second-year study. A students academic record and financial hardship are considered. These awards are worth up to $2,000 each. For more information see the Tūmau Awards page on the Victoria website.

Scholarships
PIPEF/VUW Hardship Scholarships for Pacific Islands Students
These scholarships are open to any undergraduate Pacific Islands student, who is a permanent resident in New Zealand and who is enrolled full-time at Victoria University. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis financial hardship and satisfactory academic progress.
