Bio: Dr Wirajuda is a law graduate from the University of Indonesia. He also has a doctorate from the University of Virginia, a Master of Laws from Harvard, and a Master of Arts from the Fletcher School of Diplomacy. He held several senior posts during his diplomatic career with the Indonesian foreign service; they included Director of International Organisations in the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador to Egypt, and Permanent Representative to the United Nations and international agencies in Geneva .Immediately before being appointed Foreign Minister he was Director-General of Political Affairs in the ministry. As Foreign Minister he served under the presidencies of Megawati Sukarnoputri and Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
