Boon or Bane for Australasia?
ANZSIL Symposium, held in association with NZCPL.

On Saturday 27 August at the Victoria University Law School the Australia New Zealand Society of International Law will kick start a day long symposium on the topic of Free Trade Agreements.

The Symposium is jointly sponsored by the Australian and New Zealand Society of International Law and the New Zealand Centre for Public Law. ANZSIL aims to promote and support the practice and teaching of international law as well as providing a forum for discussions of issues in international law. The NZCPL is based at the Law Faculty at Victoria University of Wellington. It sponsors lectures and conferences on public law and publishes the New Zealand Journal of Public and International Law.

The symposium is being held the day after the Beeby Colloquium, an event organised by the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the New Zealand branch of the International Law Association, which brings together international law academics from around New Zealand.
