Overview

Our healthcare programmes have been developed for people with backgrounds in health-related disciplines such as allied health, midwifery, medicine, health leadership, management, service development, quality assurance and education.

Through a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Care (PGCertHC) you will gain research skills that are relevant to your own workplace environment, as well as learn about the structure and complexities of the health environment (including how policy is set and decisions are made).  It is information that will help you to improve health care outcomes in your chosen field, and is vital if you plan to proceed to a Master of Health Care (MHC).

To gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Care (PGCertHC) you will need to successfully complete the following two courses:

Once you have completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Health Care successfully, you may be able to apply for entry to the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Care (PGDipHC) or Master of Health Care (MHC).

Your Certificate courses may count towards these programmes. However, you will be required to relinquish your Certificate when you are awarded a higher qualification.
