Overview
Our healthcare programmes have been developed for people with backgrounds in health-related disciplines such as allied health, midwifery, medicine, health leadership, management, service development, quality assurance and education.
With a Master of Health Care (MHC) you will have an advanced and sophisticated knowledge of complex healthcare systems that you can use to manage change and improve outcomes in your chosen field. You will also have acquired research skills, which enable you to take new and innovative approaches to addressing health service issues. By developing excellent theoretical and practical skills further, you will position yourself as a leader in your workplace.
The Master of Health Care (MHC) comprises eight courses in total (240pts). To gain a Master of Health Care (MHC) you will need to successfully complete the following courses:
Part One - Postgraduate Certificate in Health Care (60pts)
Part Two - Postgraduate Diploma in Health Care (60pts)
Part Three - students can choose to undertake coursework or focus on research courses to complete the Master of Health Care (120pts).

Once you have completed a Master of Health Care successfully, you may wish to consider and apply for entry into our PhD programmes offered in nursing, midwifery and health.
