Families are Good for GDP: Family and Public Policy

During this presentation our Director Jan Pryor attempted to to persuade her Treasury-based audience of two main arguments.

1. That families are the fundamental units of a civil society.

2. That the role of public policy is to foster and sustain a civil society, and that in order to do that it must place the wellbeing of families and their members at the heart of its endeavours.
