CateringCatering is a specialist function of the Marae. Served in the style befitting the occasion, the staff of Te Herenga Waka Marae serve culinary delights to suit all occasions. Typical Marae Kai is available on request. The Marae's Hangi is renowned throughout Wellington city with many organisations ordering Hangi meals when this service is provided. Hangi is used by associated groups for fundraising. During University trimesters terms, the Marae provides a wholesome lunch at the nominal fee of $4 for students and $5 for staff and visitors. This service is provided Monday to Thursday between 12:00pm and 12:30pm. Tea and coffee are provided continuously at the Marae. A koha is expected for this service.
