The association's governing body is elected by members of the NZ Deaf community.

American Sign Language (ASL)

• American Sign Language Linguistic Research Project - Syntactic structure of ASL and development of multimedia tools to facilitate access to and analysis of primary data for sign language research

• Deaf Linx - comprehensive site for information on deafness, deaf culture, deaf education, ASL, etc.

Australian Sign Language (AuSlan)

• Deaf Australia - Australian Association of the Deaf Inc. represents the views of Deaf people who use Auslan (Australian Sign Language)
• Deafness Forum - Represents all interests and viewpoints of the Deaf and hearing impaired communities of Australia (including those people who have a chronic disorder of the ear and those who are DeafBlind)

British Sign Language (BSL)

• British Sign Language - Also known by the abbreviation BSL, this is the language used by over 50,000 deaf people within the UK. BSL is 62.5% similar to NZ Sign Language.
• British Deaf Association - This site contains the latest information about the British Deaf Association, British Sign Language, and the Deaf community.
